She also assesses the implementation of existing international instruments, as well as laws and policies pertaining to the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons in Austria. Based on information gathered before, during and after the visit, the Independent Expert analyses the challenges faced in the realization of all human rights by older persons, paying particular attention to ostracized persons and groups of persons. She also examines measures to foster the implementation of standing law and policies that contribute to the promotion and protection of the rights of older persons.
