Social Protection and Human Rights Official Launch

On 16 and 17 September, we will hold the long-awaited official launch of the platform!

On 16 September, UNRISD, ILO and OHCHR will hold Overcoming Exclusion and Promoting Rights: Challenges and Opportunities in Social Protection. The event is an official side event of the 30th Human Rights Council.

On 17 September, UNRISD and ILO will hold a full day workshop on behalf of the platform partners. The workshop, Finding Ways Forward: Challenges and Opportunities in Creating Rights-Based Social Protection Systems will last for a full day and will be held at ILO. The event will bring together researchers, policy makers and practitioners to discuss good practices and areas for improvement in providing universal social protection.
