Florence Expert Round Table on Ending Violence in Childhood

UNICEF Innocenti and the Know Violence in Childhood Initiative are holding an expert round table in Florence, Italy on how social protection can mitigate the risk of violence against children on 12 and 13 May.

Twenty-five experts from around the world will discuss the link between social protection and childhood violence outcomes. Topics will include young child and adolescent sexual, physical and emotional violence.

Participants will identify evidence gaps to prioritize in further research.

A written report will be made available after the meeting.
